This is the first hard news I've read about the Resettlement Operations campsites for the general public. Not just here in the CONUS but other places too. A well thought out refugee solution in case of major disaster.

Like FEMA help in Louisiana after the hurricane I suppose. Temporary housing of a sort. Probably too many of us non-coms to fit in the DUMB underground bases. At least they are thinking ahead.

Like any govt plan, it is well laid out and easy to follow. I haven't read the PDF but will as soon as I'm done here:

US Internment Camps Inmate Classifications: Which One Are You In?

Saturday, May 19, 2012 2:26

The recently leaked PDF document " Internment and Resettlement Operations" dated Feb 2010 is a long and fascinating document. This document appears to be a "soup to nuts" manual on setting up and running resettlement camps and penal facitilies both in and outside the US. In the manual people are put into differencet classifications. Each of these classifications will have different treatments specified for each of them.
-Dislocated Civilian
-Refugee
-Migrant
-Expellees
-Internally displaced person
-Evacuee
-Stateless Person
Take a look at the Army document here: Which one will you be ?

Note for future treasure hunters: Could be a lot of stuff to detect for in these areas. Coins, jewelry etc. Who knows? :)

if necessary, there are Plenty of old mine shafts around here for temporary use.

Good for you. They are prepared for a seven year length. Training, equipment in place. Even mentioned a term I have not heard before:
'Yard Farming". Don't think it is for growing food. Can't decide to go with or without boots on. Too old but really pissed.
