Was walking past my scrap pile thinking I really need to sort it all out when a lil oblong disk caught my eye.

also while going through pocket change found this pretty lil worn 1914 wheatie.

Anyone have an idea of a date on this pin that is what I think it may be may not be what do you all think?

How bout an idea of what the letter may be I am thinking L then I see a possible E or a G.

Starting to figure out my camera a bit better as well.

I believe Limited is correct. That is a letter seal. THey would pour hot wax on the envelope and then push that seal into it. Great find. Congratulations!

my junk pile consists of piles and piles of stuff I have dug but never thought twice about figured get to them when I do more than likely garbage. And every now and then one of the goodies sneaks its way into the pile.

I am guessing early 1800's if it is really a wax seal. Try googling it. You will find wax seals have been around for a very long time.
