This proves you never know what you have till it has been cleaned. When I dug the cast iron crusty object I thought it was a bear. Being a bear Hunter I was pretty excited. After a bit of cleaning It turned out to be a dog. Now it has been cleaned and I hope you like it as much as I do. Going to go into the man room after a light coat of linseed oil.

Love the dog. Finding keys always drives me bananas, though. In the recesses of my mind I'm certain they must unlock storerooms to lost treasures, but I have no way to find them. They ought to invent a door detector.

I love it! I was wondering if it maybe came of off something like a antique cast iron wood stove.
