Today I hunted another part of a race track from the 50s which is now a cow pasture. I managed to find 6 silver dimes the car pin and the Ford key. Then I noticed the cows had escaped. Within 15 minutes the farmer and his help got em back in but they were all worked up and running back and forth about 5 minutes later they calmed down so I went back to hunting on an embankment with my back turned it was cold and windy so I had my hood on when all of a sudden I felt the ground shake. I turned just in time to see a good sized cow with her head down charging at me she was only about 4 feet away. When I turned I must have scared her because she put on the brakes which gave me enough time to move as she slid by down about a 5 foot embankment with out falling. After that I figured it was time to go. Thanks for looking and HH

I love that model A/T key. I found one just like it! Does yours have a number on the other side?

Found a Key just like that the other day. Has a 57 on the back. For us slow folk, what would that mean?? Found about 8 inches down. Would that be the year of the key or what?? Nice digs BTW.....jgas

Not really sure what the number means but the key goes to either a ford model T or model A car. The model T was made from 1908-1927 the model A from 1928-1931.
