Spent 2 hours on some hard stubble, so we will have to give this one up until its been ploughed & rolled.

A little disappointing after last nights 1 hour success, but still some encouraging signs:

1 Roman Coin
Dad got another Saxon/Viking Stirrup Mount (well the apex loop of one) :o
Couple of whatzits

We will return another day, time for another strategy.

Completely stumped, never seen a similar item, other than a sort of cog or might be an unusual Medieval purse bar terminal :dontknow:

If so, its an Army General Service Button (British), 1902-WWII
