One year later and one hundred fifty feet apart. I reunited this pair of sterling earrings, which had been lamenting without each other in a local school yard. I found the one on the left in September of 2016, and the one on the right yesterday. They are a matched pair, even though one has more of the gold wash worn off. They are both marked, "Thailand, copyright, .925." I instantly recognized the clamshell design when I dug the second one yesterday and thought it was pretty cool.

I also found the dream-catcher sterling earring yesterday, it is marked on the top hook.

More goodies included four costume rings, the gold plated band is marked "stainless steel." The Minnie Mouse ring was crushed, unfortunately.

Charmed, I' sure...

You just got to love school yards. They are full of trinkets, bobbles, and other strange items. Sometimes, you get lucky and find precious metals too, I am amazed at how "Julio", my ATPro, finds such minuscule pieces of metal. After a very long drought without anything sterling or gold, I am happy with these little goodies. Happy Hunting to all, thanks for looking,

That's pretty sweet! I found a WW1 military button one morning while my detecting buddy was lollygagging. Then about a month later I found another one just about 1000' away. Nice find!!!

Very cool to have the pair back together, nice job. I had a similar event with two matching cufflinks seven years apart.

Congrats on the bunch of cool finds
