20160401_113505-1.jpg rev war era applied silver box plate found at a colonial site near an old fort site. i can see letters hand engraved but i cant make out the name also found the beautiful Connecticut copper with an 0 stamped in the last 7 of the date, doesn't look like post mint damage but who knows. also found a KG lll half guinea style gaming token, the first one ive ever seen. also found a butt plate to an old flint lock and lots of buttons and other relics. thanks for looking HH 20160331_112521.jpg 20160331_112500.jpg 20160401_153131.jpg 20160331_211633-1.jpg 20160331_210410.jpg 20160331_183451.jpg 20160331_183514.jpg

Nice finds, I really like that plate just too bad there wasn't more there to show details.

Great finds, that Connecticut is beautiful. The plate is really interesting. Never seen those type of attachments before, but I certainly no expert.

Thanks, ive never seen that type of attachments before either, some people think its a belt plate but i think its a cartridge box plate, im also not an expert. HH coop

Congrats on those 3 awesome finds. The 0 mark is quite visible on the Conn. copper. Is that a "Laughing Head"?

Sweet plate...I don't think I would have know what it was if I dug it...that conn. Copper is in great shape...never heard of that token ...awesome hunt Congrats

Hey Coop, here is your CT copper cropped and combined, a couple affirmatives so far on it being a M.24-FF variety. Not sure of the current rarity rating but at least R5+, used to be a R6, but think it has been downgraded just a tad. Nice coin. Hope someone else can confirm this attribution for you. Don
