The find I dug yesterday was confirmed as a Rev War Royal Artillery cartridge box strap end. Such a shame it's only half but told a rare find nonetheless. Gotta love this hobby. Expect the unexpected!

Last hunt there today managed 2 more coppers a complete bayonet frog,some buttons and a cool Buckle
