Switched areas today and went to where some old gardens were, not as many coins...2 IH's 1864, 1866 and 9 wheaties and possibly a nickel 3-cent piece (badly corroded and is soaking)but also found the two rings below. The gold one on the inside of the band has a fishlike hallmark followed by 1/20...I assume this means it is only 5% gold?? And also an interesting baseball ring..have it also posted on the what is it page for am uncertain as to where its from and how old.

Congratulations as stated in another post on your finds I knew there was much much more there. Wouldn't be surprised to see some dollars come out gold or silver.

Great site hope it turns out to be your shark pit with months of finds.

Thanks to PBK, the baseball ring is an Andy Pafko scorekeeper ring from 1939. The gold ring is missing the stone, I sifted thru and resifted and resifted but could not come up with it and gave up after 45 minutes.

cool finds, can't wait to see how that possible 3 cent piece turns out. Congrats on the early IH's.
