Ring Maker's Mark

I'm trying to identify a ring I just received as a gift... sterling silver, has a 925 on one side of the inside and an unidentified monogram on the other. It has cable like bands, and I'm not sure what kind of black stone with diamonds set around it. Also guesses of possible worth are welcomed. Thank you!

The ring looks Chinese or Asian in design. The stone is likely faceted black onyx. It is unusual to have diamonds set in sterling so they are likely something else. It looks fairly modern.
