Ring Question

Hey guys, found my first two rings yesterday in the backyard. The first one is clearly stamped .925..the second appears older and appears to be silver but it has no markings at all. So I guess my questions is...are all rings marked and if they arent how can you tell if they are real or not. All help is greatly appreciated.

First off...all rings are not marked.

For instance, there are chemicals that can be used to determine if a ring is silver...

Ditto the above.
You can buy those chemicals at most metal detecting stores. They come with a dropper and a chart to read the results.
The one I bought was only $5.00. The kits for gold testing are more expensive.
