Nice finds so how did you get the black stain off? Most collectors will leave the stain on cause if you take it off it is very hard to determine the age after that. Its your find so its up to you of course.

Black was just on one side from algae. Just gentle scrub under tap water. Wanted to see flaking patterns.

They turn black in my creek to. Nice uni faced scraper.
