River hunt yields a nice large cent.

I spent a couple hours pulling the usual junk from the river and this showed up. It is an 1836 large cent. The date looks a little weak but lots of detail everywhere else. Thanks for looking! DD.

The 1836 is a real beauty! My first LC was an 1836. It also has a weak date. I think all of the 1836's were weak strikes.
