Found this unexpected coin in road construction today, after work hunt for a few hours. 1789 Spanish Half Reale. The road was constructed of planks in 1834 but I think this is a fur trade coin that was dropped when camps were set up on a nearby river in the late 1700's. The coin is really worn so who know, i'm not even sure its a half reale. Its about dime size but paper thin. Thanks and HH, lko_88
