lol rock.my friend found this rock and wanted me too post it.he thinks they took blades off of it,i think it was some kind of hammerstone,but could just be river polished. 008.JPG 007.JPG 012.JPG

I'm pretty sure that is an artifact. The banged up ends give it away. It may be a hard stone used to take blanks from the quarry. The opposite end, if I looked at it correct, could be the end used for reducing flakes from the blanks. I need to look at the pics on a real monitor. Using iPhone at present. It has all the signs of use that one would expect. Nice piece!
