Yesterday afternoon, the sun was shining, the wind is not blowing and it was only minus 4 degrees.
I was in a forest, where they are found.
The fibula 8x4 cm, 6x5 cm the bracelet.
The bracelet has a very attractive brown forest patine.

I am absolutely speechless. I detect in England once a year and have never seen such pristine artifacts and coins. The fib broach is fully intact wow. Are you sure you didn't purchase those artifacts and forgot? :laughing7:
Incredible!!!!
Congrats.

Congrats.
Unfortunately fibula's pin is broken.
These so-called onion-headed brooches made of iron frame, a rare one with all three of you have heads.

Amazing! Any age on the bracelet? I don't know enough about it, but seems banner worthy to me.

Sorry for a correction, but the fibula was used in the three centuries, that is 1700 years old. :)
Thank for a picture!

I think you misunderstood my first post. I was saying that in the US we are lucky to find 300 year old relics and coins. So when I do find something that old I get excited. I can't imagine finding something that dated back to 300 AD. Excellent find!
