Very nice brooch or fibula Folkert! I detected 12 hours this week in the Rhineland Pfalz near a Celtic fortress in my area, very disappointing, few finds and nothing old. HH and congrats, Mike

Hi Mike, in Rhineland-Pfalz there are many detector users (since the early 1970s) and so they might have plundered the most interesting areas (especially those of archaeological importance). Where are you detecting (Trier area?).
