Very nice find Folkert! Hard to believe you could ID it. I can't wait to find my first Roman coin in Germany! Found 2 in Colchester England last year. HH, Mike

Great find, what part of Europe? Most stuff of that age are 6 ft under. I"ve seen some of the 2000 yr old relics uncovered when they excavate for new buildings. Most cities in Europe protect them by establishing "preservation laws". I've seen basement's that included 2000+ yr old artifacts included into the design of the entire foundation as to protect and to exibit them.
