Fascinating! Could you tell us some history on those coins?
I'm with Sage on that, any breakdown on info is great!

Terrific coins and relics!

Did the pin heads find anything?

Unfortunately something as damaged the obverse, it's pretty much knackered :(

Difficult , the one on the left may be Hadrian AD 117-138, the other one may be earlier, it was in circulation a long time judging by the worn surface.

Some nice history, pins are great and congrats on the silver! HH, Mike

The imperial silver looks like denarius of Trajan, bu it also looks like a fouree - a silver plated copper coin. It looks like te silver foil has corroded away at a couple of points on the obverese, exposing the copper core underneath.

I have a couple of fouree denarii in my collection, including one of Trajan. Fourees were made by wrapping a copper planchet in silver foil before striking the coin, with a view to passing the finished product as solid silver. Many regard these as local contemporary counterfiets, but there is considerable opinion that at least some fouree issues were issued by the imperial mint to save on silver. In other words, a government rip-off.

Nice finds, by the way!
