Went back to the greek silver coin site, and had a fun time. Also walked farther and found a little area with some more pieces coming out. Great day with good weather.
I found what I think its a ROMAN INTANGLIO, without the ring though... :-\
its a bee or wasp, and its not made of stone, but of metal, I think bronce. You can see it has the shape of something that has been mounted onto a ring, or something round and concave. Its beautiful and heavy. If you guys can confirm its what I think it will be a great!! thanks :read2:

Also found a:
tiny roman fibula,
a couple nice roman coins (plus some scrappies), :headbang:
Plus furniture piece in great shape, one broken ring which had a decoration of somekind, a huge bronce nail!! I think medieval twizers, thimble a little broken, some buttons...

Thanks for looking!!

I'm not knowledgable, but it's clear you found really nice coins, thimble, and the intaglio bee, a great day! HH Andi

Beauiful ancient pieces, the wasp piece is definitely an Intaglio design, I agree it does look like it could've come loose from the mount of a ring; I will look forward to seeing a postive I.D. on this piece, Congratulations on it and the fibula and coins :icon_thumleft:
