This post is Mondays & today's combined, I gridded for close to 11 hours & Cru'dad did close to 6 hours. This site is a new one for us this year, although it has been done by the resident detectorist, but he did missed Cru'Dad's extremely rare Celtic mount.
Probably not much of the area left to do, but we will make sure next time.

39 Roman Coins
Tudor Button
Crotal Bell
Tudor Clothes Fastener
Tudor Knife Terminal
Medieval Purse Bar Loop
Roman? Strap End
Neolithic Flint
Irish Penny, Ed I circa 1300, Waterford Mint. :icon_thumright: First complete one & great example which I found today along with;
Wish List Coin - Spanish Silver - 1/2 Reale of Ferdinand and Isabella, c.1469-1502. (Not a great example, so I'm now changing my wish list to a later Cob.):laughing7:

Cru,
Are you ID-ing the last coin (bottom right) as the 1/2 Reale of Ferdinand and Isabella, c.1469-1502 coin; or it is another coin on your post?
Don....
Yes, other than I'm not 100% on it's denomination.

Do you mean the rusty 17th C Button, or the bownish flint (Neolithic tool)?

Not sure I get what you mean?

1. I hunt with Cru'Dad 90% of the time.
2. We have Land-Mag as our 3rd partner, although his detecting time is a fraction of ours.
3. We leave it to the land-owner to decide who detects their land, no exclusive contracts, although most play it that way with us.
4. Bearing No.3 in mind, if they choose to let others we have no issue, sometimes even stepping aside.

Yes, & for that I feel a little guilty, as they don't stand much of a chance against the Cru'Team-Machine. Specially when they just wander about.

I'm liking the flint knife, that's a beautiful stone, much better than the blacks/greys/whites I see locally.

We mostly get blacks flints, no whites, & every shade of Brown, from light (almost grey) to a dark reddish colour.

Great finds as usual. So now that a cob is off the wish-list, and it's too early, you're replacing it with a newer cob?!

I like your style Cru!

Cheers

Cru,
You wrote: "Yes, other than I'm not 100% on it's denomination."
The denomination can be determined by weight.
Eight reales (8R) coins originally weighed 27.468 grams; proportionately less for lower denominations.
If your coin weighs 1.716 grams or less, it's more than likely a 1/2R.
If it weighs over 1.716 grams, it is not a 1/2R.
I'll bet you are right with your attribution.

Congrats on your first Spanish silver. If England opted to trade with Spain rather than war with them then you'd be plucking cobs from your soil like scrappies. [emoji317]
