Firstly I'm still in a T-shirt in November!
We only had a short 2.5 hour window to grid this ankle breaker but it was well worth it. One of my best short hunts in awhile! Cru'Dad saved himself on the last run & contributed 1 Roman Coin to the haul.

8 Roman Bronze Coins
Roman Iron Locking Mechanism
Roman Silver of Trajan AD108
Roman Silver of Gallienus
Roman Fibula with pin, but bent
Celtic (Iron Age) Bracelet bit
Roman Bronze Bead
A copper-core of an imitation denarius of one of the Julia's - UPDATE; ''Just realised that the big lettering on that Bronze is actually Greek/Foreign and it is our first Roman Provincial coin. Those coins are thicker and heavier as AE bronzes. Just not sure which Province & Empress yet''
Silver Unit of the Corieltavi tribe AD 45BC-10BC
Tasciovanus Bronze Unit circa 20BC - A new & very rare type to my collection.

Very nice early silver units. Question for us laymen...which one is the rare bronze unit?

Great finds again Cru
The one next to the Silver Celtic on the blue background. 2nd from the top left.

Geez what's there not to like about having a short hunt like the one you just had. Liking the silver Pony and really nice strike, also getting the rare bronze is a huge bonus. What a day! with a great looking Fib. even though it has a bend, and stunning silver to top it off. Congrats:occasion14:

I'm thinking that once this rolled and compacted your return hunts are going to be pretty sweet.

Wild finds, can’t get better than that for such a short hunt.

Yes, it should be because the Cortes is missing a lot & even my XP isn't getting the best out of the large cracks.

Oh wow.....love that fourth coin with the standing woman on the back. Thanks for sharing....Great hunt!

UPDATE:

Finally Cru'Dad IDed our only provincial mint Roman Coin;

Julia Domna AE18 AD 194-217 of Perga, Pamphylia, 5.25g. IOVᴧIAΔ -OMNA CE, draped bust right / ΠEΡΓA-IΩN, Artemis standing right, quiver on shoulder, holding bow and torch.

Minted - Perga or Perge (Greek: Πέργη Perge, Turkish: Perge) was an ancient Anatolian city in modern Turkey, once the capital of Pamphylia Secunda, now in Antalya province on the southwestern Mediterranean coast of Turkey. Today, it is a large site of ancient ruins 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) east of Antalya on the coastal plain.
