The semi frozen ground helped a little at the beginning as it was somewhat less sticky so we gridded for the full 5 hours to complete the site. This site is spread over 10 acres+ & we gridded all of it in only 3 days, so it shows how little is left, as it use to take 8-10 days.
We did continue to clear lots of iron pieces including nails to get rid of them. We will not need to return to this site until they do a deep plough. (Could be years away)

That is cool and interesting. I like how you break it down into those different sections and have goals for each. That probably keeps the variety up.

History only goes back to the mid-1800s where I live and there weren't many folks here until the early 1900s so most of my goals are purely based on silver totals. I think in future years I might do something more like what you've done.

Something like...

Etc.

Thanks for sharing!!

Seems the hammered goal will be a bit hard
Yes, because although 1 year when I first got the XP it shot over 100, we have very few good sites for medieval finds. In fact we lost one of our best sites that had a medieval fair on it, so that hit us hard as well.

Yes, & don't forget your wish list?
My top 5 wish list is not part of the targets as they are kind of mission impossible type finds but once in awhile our dreams come true if you try hard enough.
