I had 2 places lined up for today's hunt, but as I was driving over, I had a feeling I should try 2 other spots first. I gotta follow my gut more often it seems, because today it paid off. First spot gave up the US Army collar button and 2 rosies, at the other I found the Barber, 4 wheats and the silver St Christopher medallion. The second spot was the grass strip outside the zoo which was opened in 1898, the same date as the quarter :icon_thumleft: The St Christopher has a name on the back "Willis L Saunders" US Navy, which I thought was very cool. It was down a solid 7" whereas the Barber was maybe 4" deep.

Man , you and jimmy are doing New Mexico proud ! Good to follow those hunches ! How awesome it would be if you are able to find a family member of Lt. Commander Saunders to return the St. Christopher medal !
