Any ideas on an eBay listing BIN on this set?

Picked this up today at a local thrift store. Funny thing was that the lady said that they don't sell silver or gold because the women who runs the shop looks at the jewelry before putting it out I'm the store.

It is in a Ross & Simons box with a felted display. The pieces are marked J 925 on one end of the safety clasp. The other end is marked CZW (I assume Cubic Zirconia White - but who knows).

Well, sign me up for this lovely oversight!!!

The only thing that I can find that needs fixed is the minor tarnish on the bracelet.

Any recommendations for fixing this on sterling vermeil jewelry would be greatly appreciated!

Hopefully these pieces are truly gold plated silver. I buy precious metals and pay well for them, with that being said
items like these in particular go through the highest scrutiny of any type of jewelry that I buy.
Thankfully these are not marked with "CHINA". Half of those, if not more get rejected.

If the bracelet needs polishing, it may be the plating is actually wearing off in the affected area.

I only say this because the owner supposedly does their checking on fine items...that gets my red flag warnings
going and gives me pause. Hope they are good and you make some dough!

If they are the real deal I'd suggest a bin price at $125 obo
If they don't sell you can always lower the price
Nice find!

Thanks for all of there responses.

Perhaps I should take them to a reputable pawn shop and get their opinion on the authenticity before listing them....who knows, maybe they will offer me a trade I can't refuse!

In your opinion, is it possible that the J above the 925 is a date letter?
Just curious, bc I don't see a J makers mark anywhere.
Thanks in advance!

I would list it for 149.99 as an auction, not with a BIN. If you check completed listings you will see they are a reputable company and their jewelry sells very well. There is a bracelet very similar to yours that sold for $100 alone. You can always lower it if it doesn't sell. As for the mark Ross-Simons did not manufacture all of their pieces, the mark is a vendor mark. As for cleaning, take it to the nearest jeweler, have it steam cleaned if you are worried about it.
