Round Ball

Found this on the edge of a stream. It weighs 348 grains. What caliber could it be? Is it possible to know the age? Thanks for looking.

A 0.600" pure lead ball weighs 325 grains. So yours might be around a 0.610". A good fit for a 20 gauge smoothbore wanting to shoot a single ball.

Looks to be an early musketball, you can clearly see the mold mid-seam.
Dating it is much harder though, but at least mid-19thc. :icon_scratch:
