Found this oversized steel Mercury dime today at my dads place. How uncommon are these??? what is the best way to clean it???

Wow... that is over sized.Try a little soap and water if not olive oil bath for a few days. ;D Over sized coins are made all the time as souvenirs,Lie to see it cleane.Cool find. 8) RD

since its not a real coin maybe some steel wool would take the rust off?
