Nice stuff as usual. What is that USA seal all about? I also see a "76" on the other one ...haha! I know those have to be much older than that.

Hello Bill I think the USA seal is a fertilizer sack sea. The 76 seal don't really know.:dontknow:

Nice going on the finds Rob, liking the seals. Is that a #opposite side of the 76?

Hi There- Great finds. In case you don't know, there is a gent on youtube called Peacehavens, putting together a huge database of lead seals. You should check it out for yours, and if not there get them added. He is a real authority on them and is a great guy. hh

both separate lead seals pepperj,

Actually I meant on the same seal that has the number 76 it looked like a set of numbers but I guess it's all lettering along the left to the top edge.

The seal say's TIANTO, with the N written backwards. The outer edge as a design of ooooo's ,pepperj.

Wow, I have never heard of a lead bag seal until I read your post. I'm glad I read it because I have two mystery pieces and now I'm wondering if they're lead bag seals. Thanks & congrats!

I would say the USA one looks early 20th C & the '76 is 1676.
