My neighbor gave me permission to detect her property today. One of the oldest properties in town, the house was builit in 1776. I found this medallion. Did some research and it appears to be a rare item :headbang: Can't find a date or exact origin, I'm guessing France or Canada. It is engraved with "Karo", and initials AP (or R). Great detail and depth that I don't think my pictures show very well. It's also in near perfect shape, needs additional cleaning. Any info on this piece is appreciated and any suggestions on how to upload more detailed pics, please let me know! Thanks and HH!
