Decided to take the long way back from the newly discovered 1700’s cellar hole(red). And wandered into the back yard and orchard of the last house on the old road(yellow & 1800's)
one of the dangers of having headphones on and listening intently is you can’t hear the bee’s nest you must of kicked up along the way. I got stung twice and I’ll tell you, my getting stung dance is a little more energetic than my gold dance. My father is deadly allergic, and I always feel weird after a sting. But whatever it’s not gonna stop my Sunday session.
Then i found my 3rd change purse clasp with no coins. ugh😖 this one even had the second pocket. Then a spoon that says “UG or US Silver” then maybe “CO” but it’s plated I believe like most 1800’s silverware I find. Than a surface find of a lateen part? Or something modern I’m not sure.
Then on my way back up the road i stop to relieve myself and lean my detector against a tree. When i look over and happen to notice this little guy trying to hitch a ride back with me. LOL
if it wasn’t for the large rat tail pewter spoon at the other site, this would of been a painful hunt for not to much. Although the little stow away made me laugh.
