Hi all,

I was doing some yard work for my dad today and came across the neighbor across the street who had given me permission to hunt his yard some time ago..I finally got the chance to go over there today and try my luck. We had a high temperature only in the 70's today and it rained hard 2 nights ago. The cooler weather felt great and the ground was easy to dig into..I couldn't have asked for a better day to go out and detect.

I found a total of 48 coins (34 memorials, 2 nickels, 6 dimes, 3 quarters) and 3 wheat pennies (1934-P, 1944-P and 1957-D). The biggest surprise came when I hit a target that showed every indication of being a half dollar. After cutting a nice sized plug and flipping it over I saw this huge silver ring with 9 stones staring up at me :headbang: It was a big one folks! And heavy too! This ended up being my 19th ring of the year  I was hoping for a white gold and diamonds, but the thrill of finding this big chunk of silver made it worth the time I spent there.

I shot two pics of the ring, one before cleaning and one after.

Hope you all find a little treasure this weekend :icon_sunny:

Great ring! WTG

Makes me wonder why all the rings I find are lacking the bling? :icon_scratch: Maybe I just should go out and find the bling bling instead of wondering! ;D

Nat, I thought you were nicknamed the "nozzle man" :laughing7: Maybe ringman would be appropriate now.. That's a nice chuck of silver. Are the stones real??

Thanks all..the ring is stamped 925 so it's silver. Not sure of the weight or stones yet.
