Picked up $120 of CWR at a small town bank today. All the rolls were labeled, two rolls were labeled in the 60's. See pics below. I opened the 40% roll first and it was labeled correctly, so I got real excited to open the next be cause it was labeled 1-61, 1-63, 9-64, 3-65, 6-66. So there was going to be 11 90%ers, two being bens. Well I opened it up and there were 3-65 and 6-66, but no 90%ers, the rest were clad.

I'll settle for 29 40%ers out of $120 all day long.

Would have been sick to see 11 90%ers though.

I was thinking the same thing, but this bank has always been a good silver producing bank, it's actually the bank I got my first solid roll(40%ers).

Maybe they have caught on to what I'm doing. At least when it comes to the 90%ers.

Well that's still a great score. I'd say u had a very lucky Friday the 13th.

Maybe the customer who deposited/cashed them in decided to keep the 90%ers b4 taking them to the bank. I remember one time getting some cwr's and one roll had 1968D in small letters written on it and sure enough it was a solid roll of '68Ds. I still keep those coins in the same wrapper as sort of a reminder of my nice find.

H$H!

I think it would more likely be an older person who just pulled the 90s; remember, the guys and gals who were doing it back in the day always talk about the 40s being tossed back.

Now that is a sight many will never see in their own hands. Congratulations.
