🥇 BANNER Scored a very nice Morgan Dollar today!

Got a new permission today and I was able to make some nice finds. My first find was a silver thimble. I found thimbles before but this is my first silver thimble. My last find I made was a 1921 Morgan silver dollar. It's in very good condition & looks like it was dropped in 1921. Thanks for looking.

You didn't say if that's your first Morgan, but either way, Congrats, in a BIG way, for that beautiful coin! I've been at it for 32+ years and have yet to find any type of silver dollar. The thimble is stunning as well- great find!

Congrats on your first silver dollar, how many yrs have you been detecting?

Got my first metal detector when I was about 10 years old. Today I'm 61. Didn't get serious about metal detecting until 2019. I never metal detect too much because of work. But on my day off when I have time like to take my metal detector out for a walk.

It wasn't too deep. Maybe 5" or 6". But there was a lot of roots I had to cut through.

It didn't blow my ear drums out. But it gave a nice repeatable sound from two directions. I was hoping for something good.
