You my friend have found some absolutely incredible buttons. Some of the brass 1812 buttons are the nicest designed of any military buttons ever made in my opinion. It’s funny that the only 2 Brass 1812 buttons I’ve ever found are those buttons. The only difference is that my RA button is not a 2nd regiment. I have piles of pewters but I’d love to have an awesome collection of the nice brass buttons like you have. Congrats on kicking off 2018 with a couple of beauties. All of these early military buttons are very special relics
