Keep hunting that site. And something to keep in mind when hunting any site... try to picture the way it would have looked in the past. Have any of the buildings been torn down/moved?... Are the roads/driveways the same as they were?... have any of the surrounding areas become overgrown or clear cut? Were the outbuildings used for anything different in the past? Keeping things like this in mind might help to find a few hot spots on older properties. Be persistent and observant on sites like this and the finds will come.

I lived by this property 46 years. I do remember some of the old buildings. One problem though, the areas around the old buildings are filled with scrap metal. They buried a lot of steel from the farm. Out in these trees though, a hit is usually a bullet or a coin. I'll keep working it.
