Wow, what another day at the hole. I'll be honest things started a little slower today, but ended with fireworks. I got out to the site around 9 to hit some more of the areas I haven't yet covered. The first keeper came about an hour into the hunt. I got a solid pull-tab/Gold reading. In the hole was a Jefferson nickel with a silver rosie. Sweet! After a few more steps I pulled the Sterling ring at about 3 inches. Next keeper came with the 1903 Barber dime. Solid silver dime signal. I then took a break hoping to hit a Merc to get my trifecta after lunch. Well I got back and snagged the 1863 Civil War Token " The Federal Union, It Must be and Shall be Preserved" token. I was hyped about that because I was getting some oldies. I was about to call it a day when I got a solid 01-29 on the Explorer at about 9". I expected a silver dime, but no it was a beautiful 1877 CC Seated Quarter. I was stoked . I finished the hunt a few steps later when I got the bent up/trashy 1898 Indian.
