New member, but long time hunter, actually began in 1979 with a Pro-2,then a White`s 6DBH.Hunted extensively until 86,then had a big gap of non-hunting until a year and a half ago.I have been very lucky lately,{31 silvers in Oct.}.Sunday afternoon produced: 46-D,61-D,and 2 64 Roosevelts,Mercs include:26-D,and a 42-D, 2 Washingtons: 45,and a 49-D,97 Barber dime.It was a real thrill to recover a 76 Seated quarter, but the 1896-O Barber quarter really got my attention! It may be diffucult to discern by the scan, but it has a bold liberty, and a distinct hair ribbon. Also among the Wheat cents, there is an 06 Indian in the bunch. Now using Minelab Explorer II.

Man I could really use one of these 11 silver days. Great job. :icon_thumright:
I've been on a 7 day silver streak but just barely. one silver a day but never 11. Thats probably how it was everyday back in the early days. Most I had in a day for silver coins was 3. I feel like i'm just picking up the scraps of what others in the past missed. Never felt like I was in an untouched area.

I`m in MO but this was found in a nearby state.I used to live in Long Beach, and the L.A. Harbor area, and was a member of the Los Angeles Historical Bottle Club.
