Got me this digger from Excalibur shovels call the SEAX
love it ....8” long blade 3” wide ish” .like 15” long total ....I feel 10x stronger now than digging with the Leche style...I’ am a park god now....made a sheath for it . Because of the way the handle is angled if you sheath that like normal the handle sticks out and gets in my way. So I turned it putting handle closer. A large water bottle carrier for my backpack covered all of the teeth I use the cover for the top of the water bottle as a drop down Hoster sewed it worked perfect. I’ve then sew on the pinpoint attachment Wala done.this is a tool for life.....

The long handle is my cane 30” long I leave the Med handle home on long walking trips put a cane rubber protector on the bottom use it as my cane saves 2 pounds.shovel head in backpack with “gold” “Relic” hunting..tools,deus 2 .....looks like I’m just hiking..it works in three ways, shovel handle ,cane for walking , and one nice defence cane...weighs less than my hickory defence cane and stronger....just saying.....so the shovel and cane of a life time.....

I can see the issues of how to carry the purple one, though it seems to hang ok.
Always interesting to see new tools and how they work out.
Kind of wishing these were around a decade ago when park hunting was still done.

I got two v nickels last week in a park it’s still done.....6 months out of the year we where jackets or a light over coat this hides nice .but that extra 2” of digging tip and wider make for a mass improvement “benefit “the size difference of the two tools . When digging a plug my deus 2 hits shit at 10-12” all the time yes 9” for sure ,the Leche style when digging a plug gives you about 4-5“ deep hole now it’s dig time.and a Leche sucks at that. I bought a rapture for that but in 2 1/2 weeks he still has not delivered.with this SEAX tool my plug is 7” deep a lot less digging .. used it like ten time and giggled like a little girl while digging a hole.

Always good to have a dual purpose tool in the pouch or by one's side.

It works good .easy to put shovel back in sheath I addEd some leather inside on bottom u shaped to stop ripping..

Call him ...I think I got one of the first ....he’s a real nice guy ....it will be the best Xmas gift ever....I’m sure he’ll get one right out ..it’s so new not up on the site yet ,butt I’m sure with a email,or call he will be on it.

Ok Seax digger sheath I made sucks bounce around more than the Republicans at the GOp convention when they mention Trump’s name. Just felt all wrong .so went back to the first idea.
the arrow quiver moved the belt loop down added a broom handle wall holder witch I will paint brown. Added my pin pointer in the space the SEAX made because of turning it,so as the handle didn’t stick out .also no getting dirt in the sheath..rides nice works nice .
