Happy Sunday all. Went out early early this morning...only time to get out around these parts because it's been triple digits for a while now past 12:00pm every day...HOT!

Anyways, I've been staying away from the old park lately and have been hitting the more modern schools closer to my house. There's a good and bad to that...the bad: NO silver coins! Well, you'd be lucky to find one....the good: lots of jewelry!! So, needless to say, I've had a bit of a silver dry-spell lately, but I've found (2) gold rings in June alone! Super stoked.

This little guy was just below the surface and put out a nice loud 50s tone. I dig all of those tones...and it's paying off!! 10K gold ring but missing the stone. Weighed in at only 1.0 gram on the scale, but hey: gold is gold! Even if only a gram of 10K haha.

Happy hunting everyone! Stay hydrated and cool! [emoji41] ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1498418248.152334.jpg ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1498418272.689515.jpg ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1498418293.137635.jpg

Yes they do! The one today (without stone) was actually bouncing from mid to low 50s...sometimes even high 40s. I never used to dig those lower tones because of the dreaded foil balls! ALMOST 100% of the time....but days like today reassure me why I dig all those foil balls and pulltabs. Sometimes there's actually a gold ring down there [emoji106]🏻

Thank you!! Well, as most of us know, gold is a rare occurrence. Getting two golds in a month is hard to do! Actually last year I got 2 gold rings in a day hunting schools!!! That is a RARE occurrence!! But hey, I guess nothing is really impossible! ;) HH

Yeah I hear ya!! It's so hard to keep digging those lower tones when you know MOST of the time it's gonna be foil/pull tab/junk...but every time I dig a gold ring, it reminds me why I spend so much time checking EVERY DARN TARGET above my disc level. Easy to get complacent, but so rewarding to see a gold object in the hole/plug! Now if I could just find a gold coin, I'd be a very happy man!!! HH all. Go get that gold...it's out there [emoji106]🏻

Yeah me too!! It seems like those "waves" happen a lot. I'll go days or weeks with nothing other than clad and the usual junk....then I'll have a day or two where it's silver and gold, silver and gold!!! Just goes to show that "treasure" is out there everywhere!! Just have to go look for it and find it! Good luck everyone!

Very nice. I'll bet a jeweler can restore the one without a stone with a new stone. After white diamonds, I think red is the color for people to lose at the beach.

Yeah it would be a nice ring with a big colored stone. I have a big aqua marine that would actually be close to fitting this. It came out of a 14K ring I found earlier in the year. Maybe I'll have to make my wife an anniversary gift ;) hehe
