Second time out this year. Got a pair of Indian's

One cent and one nickel.
We still have too much snow on the ground to detect here, but the ground is thawed, so I headed out to find a spot where the snow was gone. Had to go about 70 miles to do it though.

The ground in your area must be "kind" to coins...both of those are in good shape. :)

Nice digs bk. A pair of Indians like those would make it worth the 70 mile trip.
I didn't think spring was ever going to get here either.Cabin fever sure gets to a guy when you see all those posts of great finds being made in the warmer weather areas.Best of luck to you and I hope you can get out again soon. HH!

Bk,

Nice looking Indians. 2 indians (coins) in the hand are better than 4 in the ground!!

Great dig!

These were out of a park in LaCrosse Wis that I never hunted. This was good ground to the coins they dropped there. Every buffalo nickle had it's date i ever found there too. There was in the 1890's a large Fair put on for the kids of the area thousands of people attended it. The Indian head might of been dropped on that day.
