Made it back out to the new site that I discovered a couple of weeks ago and pulled a few more relics and buttons. Based on my finds so far I date it late 1700's to mid 1800's. No coins yet but the targets are still plentiful just difficult swinging in the brush and overgrowth. Dug a small gold guilt filigree button and a decorative pewter button. Also dug a cone shaped brass item that I'm not sure what it is. Looks like a cap to a pen or a pen holder but I don't place these items at this site based on the rest of the finds there. If anyone has any ideas I'd love to hear them.

I also posted a picture of a cuff sized cannon/eagle button that I dug several weeks ago at another site. It is in such bad shape I initially discarded it as a basic flat button but after closer inspection I could make out the wheel of the cannon. This is the second one of these that I have dug in the last 6 months from two sites that are about 15 miles apart from each other.

William IV padlock keyhole cover, bit different from the usual VR types we see pretty often.
