Found quite a few things on the job this week, mostly glass marbles and some un marked patent medicine bottles, but here's a few finds that stand out.... The token is toasted, but it's an octagonal 2 1/2 cent from C.F. Graf as near as I can tell.... it measures around 26.5 mm across. I really wish it was in better shape. The key tag is from the Life Insurance Company of Virginia, 75th anniversary dated 1946, pretty neat I thought. The big round disk nearly went in the trash pile, but I noticed engraving on it (ALWAYS double check your finds!!) One side reads "Joyce & Eddie" The other I think says "From one goof to another" I think it's my favorite piece I've found all year, and to think I thought it was just a junk brass disk.... Got a lot more hunting to do on this place so there will likely be a lot more to show for it soon...
