I have a bunch of stainless steel and I need some advice on separating it. I know to separate magnetic stainless from non-magnetic stainless, but is there anything else I should know or consider? Also does anyone know the prices of stainless steel or could they point me in the direction of a website where I could find the prices?

All types of BFOs owned. Especially want White's Arrow; White's Oremaster; Exanimo Spartan Little Monster; Garrett contract Little Monster.
A couple of months back my company was being charged $2.35 per pound for 300 pound stainless sheets in 4500 pound bundles. We were selling the scrap back to the mill for about $1.00 per pound. I don't know if we were getting a sweetheart price due to the large quantity or a royal shaft due to some higher up having a girlfriend in the scrap metals business.
I so rarely have access to stainless outside work that i have no clue what you could get from a local dealer in small quantities. good luck, siegfried schlagrule
