Went back to our old routine; The Potato Field for 2.5 hours in the morning & 2.75 hours on the Sewage Site in the afternoon.

The Potato Field:
Cru'dad got the monkey off our back within about 30 mins with a cut quarter hammered of Henry III
Mini Cannonball thingy?
17th C Spur Buckle
Bent Jaw Harp

Sewage Site:
3 17th C Tokens
Lead Token
Cut Quarter of the Scottish King Alexander II - Only our 2nd of him.

Pleased with this because we are in areas that we expect very little from...

I don't know how small canister shot are. WWI canister shot were not big but i doubt you have WWI practice area close. I don't remember seeing you posting artillery items. If it is canister shot it's probably older.

I think this is only my 2nd or 3rd of this size iron ball. I think it's much older but I have little to no experience in them.

By the look i'd say this is the same like the few canister shot i dug. And these came from an area Napoleonic troops fought and are most likely related.

Very nice old silver pieces. Buttons are one of my favorite things to find, something personal about them. You seem to find more than anyone on TNet. Your fields are oldies.
With a diameter and weight on the ball you should get an ID.
