I don't see why it can't be a letter opener but there are some guys on here that are great at ID's. Grats on a successful hunt and good luck next time out.

Define β€œwinding down”? I see all high signal finds on your post. I hope you plan on digging the mid and low tones too.

Cool letter opener.

It could also be a book page marker. Check the top to see if there would be a place to slip it over a page. Otherwise, I would go with letter opener. Congrats on your silvers and that nice relic.

I dig every tone on this site, Its the craziest place more silver than wheat or IHP's very little trash or iron, I have pulled a few nails but not what I expected!
To date I have pulled 2 seated dimes, 3 Barber dimes, 4 Mercury dimes, 2 V nickels, 1 buffalo Nickle. 6 IHP's a few Wheaties, and a handful of clad. My last time through I went to all medal mode and still didn't find a lot of iron! Oh and handful of bullets.
