Went out digging at a local park today. Pulled up some silver, and what I originally thought was just an average penny. Was not even an inch down. Crazy! This year so far has been excellent! Can’t wait for better weather so I can get back into the water as well. Got some more swimming holes to take a look at. Holy Mint Wheaties!! At an inch down in that shape it’s definitely a recent drop...sure is nice tho! And the silver Roosevelt is sweet too... Ddf.

It had to have been a recent drop. I was pretty stoked when I flipped it over.

So someone decided to drop two last year coins huh... weird but cool

They were in two separate areas of the park. The dime was located next to the goal posts of where the soccer field used to be. And the penny was found right next to the bench area. There used to be horseshoes pits there, and it was in the spot with no grass. My guess would be the penny wasn’t looked at by whoever had it. The dime was a little over 2 inches down. Stroke of luck I guess!
