Got a new-looking Ohio .25 with a "silver" edge.

Had me wondering for a minute...but only for a minute.

It didn't stand up to the pocket knife test.

The copper came shining through.

And Oh how I hate new Canadian dimes and quarters.

ahhh i see, shame. i had two 1968 dimes show up yesterday and neither was a 50%er... sometimes you dont get so lucky

Why would you need a pocket knife test ? The only modern silver quarters are going to come with the "S" mintmark; and the silver proofs are quite noticeably different than the CuNi proofs.

I can only remember one thing at a time... That was used on making sure I keep my knife with me.

On that note, my brother chipped a tooth trying to "gold test" a piece of jewelry. Hes not the sharpest spoon in the drawer at times.
