I only started coin roll hunting in early August, didn't start keeping real track of my finds until October, and didn't get my first actual box until late November. As such, my "year total" really only includes October-November-December. Unfortunately, most of my best finds for the year were right when I started and was only getting a few rolls of pennies at a time.. I don't have accurate counts for that time period, but I'll mention the highlights.
My total of 10 boxes and a miss-match of rolls for the year is obviously peanuts compared to the volume some here manage, but it would have felt weird to not do a 'years totals'. Next year will be a full year and hopefully get some better totals (and maybe increase my volume while I'm at it... although that is hard around here; my pickup bank and dump bank are the only two in town and it is a 30min highway drive to the next town over.)

10 boxes of pennies (25,000 pennies, $250 searched):

Copper Culled: 3,098 (12.39% or about 1 per 8 coins)

Wheaties Harvested: 55 (About 1 per 455 coins or 5 per box)
Wheaties worst box: 0, Wheaties best box: 13
Notables: 1916, 1917

Indian Heads Gathered: 1 (1 per 25,000)
(1899)

Canadian Leaves Raked: 73 (About 1 per 342 coins or 7 per box)
Canadians worst box: 0, Canadians best box: 12
Notables: 1951, 1955, 1967 memorial

Pennies were my main focus of the year, especially once I started getting boxes. My best box of the year was unquestionably box #6, which produced the 1899 Indian head, 11 Wheaties, and 12 Canadians (one of which was the 1967 memorial). (the other box in that batch, #7, was also the one that produced my first and only non-us/non-can coin, the 1996 Panama.

80 rolls of dimes-gotten in batches of 10 (4,000 dimes, $400 searched):

Silver Stacked: 2 (About 1 per 2,000 or 1 per 40 rolls)

Canadian Dimes: 1 (1 per 4,000)

25 rolls of nickels (1,000 nickels, $50 searched):

Canadian Nickels: 1 (1 per 1,000)

My very early rolls searched were mostly batches of 10-20 rolls of pennies during August and September, before I was really trying to keep track or stay organized. Very early on, I had a few batches of rolls that were almost solid wheat pennies. Unfortunately I don't have accurate records of this, but the total from that time period was something close to 3 Indian heads; 1905, 1897, 1887 (4 for the year) and somewhere around 1,200 Wheaties (including 1910, 1913, 1914, many 1915-1930 dates, and multiple 1943 steels). I would say that early luck got me pretty solidly hooked... I can only assume I stumbled across some kind of collection.

All in all I would say it was a good starting year for me, even if it was rather short. Majorly looking forward to 2018. I don't have any particular 'goals' for the year, aside from having a full year and continuing to get better at this whole thing (and finally getting a camera next week!). At least for the first part of the year, I'll be continuing to focus on pennies.

Keep hunting Y'all, and may we all have a plentiful year! :4leafclover:

Shiny: appears that you are keeping very good detailed records. Keep it up, the info might help us all somewhere along the way. Keep the stacks growing, wheats and silvers.
