Sharks like to stay out of your field of vision and at the end of your visibility underwater,if you see shadows then start looking around.They will be there in the murk.Carry a glock or a bang stick.spear or big dive knife or get one of the aqua shark shields,they are made in tarpon springs.I have seen some 10+ foot hammerheads cruzing around me in daytona beach when i used to spearfish at the end of the old sun glow pier

Bull sharks are the marine equivalent of grumpy old men, so if you see one, get out of the water till he goes elsewhere to annoy someone else, a buddy of mine got chased up a dive ladder by one once, they just have no sense of humor.
