Thanks, I rented a bike and rode it around the beach from the harbour toward the south end.... I biked about 4K but did not find enough erosion to find the old stuff. I detected in the lowest spots i could find but no hits at all. I spent the rest of my time researching and planning my next move. I was excited to hear that a gold coin was found on the beach a few years ago by a little boy... no detector.... My next move is to rent a house during the months when the ocean erodes the beach the most and wait it out...... maybe next year!
